The Pelicans are coming off a 2-game set with the Nuggets and played last night. New Orleans is 7-8 SU their last 15 games when playing without rest, but they have an average loss margin in those games of minus -7.9ppg. The Kings come into this game off an embarrassing loss to the Spurs on Tuesday 103-130. Sacramento is 13-9 SU their last 22 when playing an opponent with a rest advantage. The Kings are 0-4 SU this season but 3 pf their losses have come against the (4-0) Grizzlies, )4-0) Blazers and the odds-on-favorites to win the title, Spurs. The Pelicans are also 0-4 SU this season with a pair of losses to the Nuggets which are OK, but the L’s to Utah and Indiana are less than impressive. Yesterday, Pelicans Jordan Poole and Herb Jones both came out publicly and said they’d like to be traded. That doesn’t suggest a great locker room situation in New Orleans.
