- Analysis
- This is a play on the FLORIDA ATLANTIC OWLS for our CFB Thursday Attraction. We played against Florida Atlantic on Saturday as it won by just two points over Rice as the Owls were unable to stop the other Owls on the ground as they rushed for 479 yards, the second straight game Florida Atlantic has faced an option attack and have been crushed for a total of 968 yards on 111 carries (8.7 ypc) and now they get to see a more conventional offense. That was the second conference win for the Owls and they are chasing two undefeated teams, one of which they face tonight and a win will give them the tiebreaker but we only care about staying within margin and this number is way overadjusted. North Texas is a surprise as it lost everything from head coach to roster but has started 5-2 that includes four straight wins and that is impacting this number. The wins were one FCS victory, a one point win over Tulsa, a win over a bad Charlotte team and another against a rebuilding Navy team. The Mean Green once again have a potent offense but Florida Atlantic can keep up. Here, we play on underdogs of 10.5 to 21 points after being outrushed by 125 or more yards last game going up against an opponent after gaining 5.5 or more rushing ypc last game. This situation is 36-10 (78.3 percent) since 2022. 10* (113) Florida Atlantic Owls
