Analysis: WNBA DOG OF THE MONTH: I don't know if I can trust the Dallas Wings right now, as they've lost two of three, with the two losses coming by one point. It seems they can't win the close ones and fail to close the deal, as six of their 10 losses this season have been by single digits. The Wings played at home Wednesday and now play on the road against very talented and hungry Washington Mystics team that is fully capable of winning this game outright. Since a 5-7 start to the season, the Mystics have won 10 of 15 with a stringent defense that has allowed 80.3 points per game, the second-best scoring defense in that span. Washington is also holding teams to a league-low .419 shooting. Keep in mind that the Mystics have beaten the Golden State Valkyries and the Las Vegas Aces while averaging 94.0 points per game during a three-game win streak, and now come into this one with revenge on the brain after suffering a 23-point beatdown at the hands of Dallas back in May. I would love to forget the point spread here and play the moneyline, but in case we get sniped at the end by an Azzi Fudd 3-pointer, I'll take the points. The Mystics have covered four in a row and will make it five straight at the window, while potentially winning this one outright.
