Analysis: Do we have a potential World Series preview on our hands in this series? I know the Boston Red Sox were irrelevant the first few months, but they're surging at the right time. And if they keep it up and can get into the postseason, they would certainly make a great opponent if the Los Angeles Dodgers can join them. Tonight I'm trusting my eyes with the pitching matchup, as the two-time defending World Series champion Dodgers are going with Edgardo Henriquez, while the BoSox have Ranger Suarez going. With Henriquez, we have a guy who is 4-1 with a 2.79 ERA in 31 appearances and is now making his first start of the season. The Dodgers are treating the series opener as a bullpen day, with Henriquez lasting potentially an inning or two. Suarez has been consistent for the Red Sox, for the most part, but this will be the toughest opponent he's faced in a while. And by the way, he was just in Anaheim on July 5, when the Angels got him for three runs in six innings over 2.2 innings. Take the Dodgers and list both in this one.
