- We're not going to be able to say this often, but the Colorado Rockies have the pitching edge tonight, and the price is right. We head to Denver, where Tomoyuki Sugano will stymie the Kansas City Royals. Sugano is 10-4 with a 4.69 ERA this season, including a perfect 6-0 over his last seven starts. And in eight home starts, he's 6-2 with a 4.15 ERA. Oh, and by the way, in two July starts he is 2-0 with a 3.86 ERA. Up for the Royals is Michael Wacha, who is 5-7 with a 3.60 ERA in 21 starts this season. Wacha hasn't won since June 22 and in four appearances at Coors Field, he's 0-2 with a 5.19 ERA.
