- I'm backing the Tampa Bay Rays in this one, as we're getting Nick Martinez awfully cheap against the Chicago White Sox and Erick Fedde. I respect what the South Siders are doing this year, but Fedde isn't going into Tampa and shutting the Rays down like Martinez will do to the Pale Hose. Martinez (10-2, 2.45) is 7-1 with a 2.78 ERA in 11 home starts this season, while Fedde (5 -6, 4.25) is 3-5 with a 5.40 ERA in 10 road appearances (seven starts). The Rays have the third-highest home batting average (.267) this season, and will undoubtedly chase Fedde early. Rays win this one going away.
