San Luis has an improved offense this season, but their defense has been porous. We are only two matches into the regular season, but their matches have averaged 4.5 goals. They have scored multiple goals in both matches, and most recently in a 2-2 road draw against a very solid defensive side in Tigres. Tijuana has looked great so far and sit atop the table with the best goal differential of the four sides with six points. They also played Tigres in the season opener and rung up three goals on last season's runners up. Both of Tijuana's matches thus far were at home, where they are much better defensively. We see both sides getting plenty of chances here and this number is more than fair even though we have to pay some juice. Last week Tijuana beat Leon at home, 1-0, but they also missed a penalty and had plenty of chances to pile on more goals. Leon also had some nice offensive stats despite not finding the back of the net, and they had 20 touches in the Tijuana box and 61 percent possession. We see a shootout here and we could see 4 or more goals scored in this one. Tijuana will get plenty of looks at the goals against this San Luis defense, and San Luis will be able to take advantage of the opportunities where Leon fell short last week, and the Tijuana defense won't play as strong as they have in their two home matches.
