With the NBA Draft taking place last week, it's officially time to start thinking about Free Agency. There's already been some blockbuster moves over this offseason and there's definitely more craziness to come. We are going to take a look at what's happened so far and talk about some of the best names available in Free Agency.

The Giannis Trade ~

Over the last couple of season, it was getting more and more evident that Giannis Antetokounmpo was going to be traded, especially during last year. The team was clearly not doing things the way he wanted and the Bucks have now established itself as a rebuilding organization. Well, the deal finally happened this past week as Giannis was sent to South Beach in Miami. Here's a look at the full trade that took place.

Miami Receives:
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo
  • Bobby Portis

Milwaukee Receives:
  • Tyler Herro (G/F)
  • Kel’el Ware (F/C)
  • Jaime Jaquez Jr. (G/F)
  • Kasparas Jakučionis (G)
  • No. 13 pick (2026) -- Nate Ament (F)
  • 1st Round pick 2031
  • 1st Round pick in 2033
  • Pick swap in 2030
  • 2nd round pick in 2033

Quite the haul if you're to ask us. Was it the best offer that Milwaukee received? We're not so sure. But, it's much better than say the Luka Doncic deal for the Dallas Mavericks/Los Angeles Lakers that took place a year ago.

The Ja Morant Trade ~

On Monday, the Memphis Grizzlies finally moved on from Ja Morant. It became quite clear that Morant wasn't too happy with Memphis at the end of last season and there was always the possibility of a move with how many games he was missing. Ja stays in the West as he heads to the pacific northwest in Portland.

Portland Receives:
  • Ja Morant (G)

Memphis Receives:
  • Jerami Grant (F)
  • Kris Murray (F)

We think that the Grizzlies could have gotten a bit more. But, Grant could definitely fit well into a younger team that could use him to gain from some experience in this league as well as his slashing capalities.
