Houston vs Kansas State Prediction

The current betting odds have Houston listed as a 2.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Houston has looked good in their games this season with their 4-1 record overall and their 1-1 conference record which has them right in the middle of the Big 12. They haven't been a great road team though with their 1-1 road record this year. Meanwhile, Kansas State has looked good in their games this season with their 3-1 record overall, but their 0-1 conference record has them right near the bottom of the Big 12. They have looked a lot better on their home field though with their 3-0 home record this season. Kansas State is in their 1st season with a new head coach and they had a lot of hope coming into the year, but they are coming off a 31-26 loss to Cincinnati in their last one and that loss has really put a damper on the season. They haven't really been tested in their games this season either, so that was a big challenge for them and they even blew a lead after being in control for a lot of that game. Now they have a ranked opponent coming into town and Houston has looked like one of the best teams in the Big 12 this season. They do have a conference loss under their belt already, but that was also a 2 point loss on the road against Texas Tech who won the Big 12 last season and looks like the best team in the conference once again. Houston is also coming off a 27-17 win over UCF and they showed a lot of resilience in that game to come back down 17-0 and still win by double digits. Now they are entering this game as an underdog and they will definitely be looking to make a statement here. The best way to place a bet here is on Houston to cover the spread in this game.

He runs it better than probably people give him credit for.” - Willie Fritz on Conner Weigman after his team’s win against UCF in their last game.

"I have looked up to Coach Fritz for a long time. Having gotten into this profession and seeing his track record, seeing how hard his teams play, how disciplined they are, the pressure they put on you schematically in all phases." - Collin Klein on his team’s upcoming game against Houston this week.
