The defense carried them in a lot of games last season and this year will be no different. The offense lacks a lot of talent though and that is where their issues lie. There are some big question marks surrounding CJ Stroud coming into this season with the way he has declined since his rookie year and the team didn't have much of a run game last year either. It didn't help that their offensive line was a mess, so those are areas that they need to improve this season and the Bills will be looking to exploit those weaknesses. The Bills will be looking to make a statement with their new head coach to open up the season and even with one of the best defenses in the league, the Texans are still at a disadvantage here with the Bills having the more reliable offense. The best way to place a bet here is on the Bills to cover the spread in this game.
